The order raising the statutory minimum wage (Smic, salaire minimum de croissance) was published on 24 May 2026 and sets the new figures applicable from 1 June 2026. The gross hourly Smic rises to €12.31, that is €1,867.06 gross a month on the basis of the 35-hour statutory working week. The guaranteed minimum (minimum garanti) is set at €4.35.
